ISLAMABAD – Norway’s largest fruit and vegetable distributor, Bama-Gruppen AS, has decided to enhance fruit purchases from Pakistan with a special focus on importing mangoes this year. Norwegian Ambassador Robert Kvile revealed this to a delegation of the Federation of Pakistani Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
The envoy indicated that a delegation of the Norwegian company recently visited Pakistan and decided to enhance investments as well as imports. Bama-Gruppen is engaged in wholesale trading of imported and Norwegian-produced fresh produce in fruits, vegetables and flowers.
He pointed out that the Scandinavian country would be holding an international conference in Oslo to apprise the investors about business opportunities in Pakistan that would help draw in new investment.
