MINGAWARA – Three militants were killed in clashes with the security forces at Gawaleri area of Matta Tehsil in early hours of Tuesday. The officials informed that three militants, who were earlier arrested, were taken to determine the dumping site of arms and weapons in an unpopulated area near to village Gawaleri when they made an attempt to escape.
However, the officials foiled their attempt to do so. All three militants, identified as as Sajid Ali son of Mohammad Zada and Ata Ullah son of Mohammad Zahid resident of Rooreengar and Abdullah son of Jamil resident of Bazeel Banda Matta were killed in the attack. Meanwhile, a policemen’s mistaken firing killed Javed, a worker at the residence of District Police Officer Swat on Tuesday.
The police arrested accused Abdullah. In another incident, Ghaleegay Police recovered a huge quantity of arms from an unpopulated area near to Abohaa village.
