SAHIWAL – Real brothers killed their sister and her paramour in the name of honour at Chak Meer Dad Muafi the other day. Reportedly, Zubaida, a resident of Chak Meer Dad Muafi, developed illicit relations with Shaban. Zubaida’s brothers Nazir and Tasleem caught her and Shaban red handed and slaughtered them with the strokes of an axe.
BLIND MURDER CASES’ MYSTERY SOLVED: Sahiwal police traced a gang of killers involved in two blind murder cases and arrested them. As per details, the police, under the supervision of Sahiwal District Police Officer (DPO) Rana Ayaz Saleem, arrested a gang of Zakir alias Munna and five other accused who were involved in two blind murders.
The DPO said the police found the bodies of two people from Chak No 9-14L and 104-14L that were identified later. He further said the department constituted a team comprising deputy superintendent of police, Kasowal station house officer and other officials who traced the bodies of Muhammad Iqbal and Maqbool Ahmed and recovered Rs 80,000, mobile phones and a rickshaw from the killers.
The accused told the police that they took Muhammad Iqbal from his house to buy cattle, but they snatched the cash from him and murdered him on the way. In the second murder, the accused said that they and snatched cash from Maqbool Ahmed of Chak No 104-14L who was going to purchase a motorcycle.
The DPO awarded certificates to the police officials for tracing blind murders.
