ISLAMABAD – The Imamia Student Organisation (ISO) on Monday staged a protest rally against the killing of Bahrain’s Shia and Sunni pro-democracy protesters, allegedly by the Saudi and Gulf countries’ forces on the directives of the United States, and expressed their resentment over the visit of the Bahraini foreign minister. The protesters marched from the National Press Club (NPC) to D Chowk where they burnt tyres and blocked the road for more than an hour. The protesters alleged that the foreign minister of Bahrain came to Islamabad to seek military assistance from Pakistan.
