It has been some time now when few lady parliamentarians raised the issue of sexual harassment of female employees working in state owned corporations in the year 2010. Two corporations, namely PTV and PIA, topped the list of such frequent abuses and written complaints made by female workers were taken up by the parliamentary committee. No one knows what happened to the complaints and the guilty ones.
In one such incidence, a female stewardess filed a complaint against her director in PIA. There are numerous such cases which were taken up but there has been no follow up. Why is everybody silent on this issue in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan?
