LAHORE – University of Central Punjab have won the Inter-varsity Handball Championship 2010-11, which was held at Peshawar University. Twelve teams participated in the event. Mozammal Mahmood of UCP was declared the Best Player of the Championship. UCP were also declared the winner of the Inter-varsity Kabbadi Championship 2010-11. Nine teams participated in the event. The event saw brilliant performances by Mustansir, Qaisar, Zubair, Zaka, Tariq and Mubashar. Cash prizes were awarded to the team by Prof Sohail Afzal, Executive Director Punjab Group of Colleges.
