LAHORE – Raiders FC beat Walton FC 1-0 to enter the semi-finals of the All Punjab Raiders Football Cup 2011. Both the team made cautious starts and failed to score any goal in the first half.
The match remained goal-less until four minutes from full time, when Raiders’s winger Kamal punished a defensive blunder inside Walton’s area and slammed the all-important goal from close range. The final of the event will be played on March 29, after two semi-finals on March 27 and 28.
