KARACHI – The ship-mounted 232 MW rental power project is likely to commence operations on March 31 after overcoming minor technical glitches, APP has learnt. An official of the Turkish power ship, Karkey Karadenz, told APP on Friday that a delegation of the Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) will meet with directors and technical staff of the rental ship on Saturday.
Despite in the state of readiness, the date for starting commercial operational will be notified to the government within the next two days, he added. The power ship Karkey Karadenz is anchored near Ibrahim Hyderi off the Korangi Creek Base of PAF since November last year.
