LAHORE – The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) remained range bound and closed in red zone with a stagnant volume on Friday. The LSE 25-shares lost 4.89 points to close at 3,236.69 against its opening at 3,241.58 levels. Out of total 107 active scrips, 34 went up, 20 went down and 53 closed without any change in their opening values.
The volume of the market remained 2.26 million shares, which was 0.2 million shares less than Thursday’s turnover of 2.46 million shares. Lotte Pakistan PTA was the volume leader with 0.54 million shares turnover and it added Rs 0.08 to close at Rs 16 against its opening at Rs 15.92.
Dawood Hercules was the major gainer and it added Rs 2.32 to close at Rs 75.24 against its opening at Rs 72.92. Pakistan Oil Fields was the major loser and it lost Rs 2.57 to close at Rs 319.98 against its opening at Rs 322.55.
