Unnecessary action

In yet another brutal aggression, after Afghanistan and Iraq, the US and NATO forces are raining in missiles onto the Libyan ground forces/installations, killing hundreds of Libyans including civilians.

There is no one including Russia and China to influence the stoppage of this unnecessary onslaught. The reasons they, as well as the UN Secretary General, gave are much short of warranting such an action.

The US/NATO appears to have forced the UN into accepting their unilateral brute action. Do these powers feel that they can do whatever comes to their mind? Do they have an agenda to destroy all Muslim states on one pretext or another whenever they deem fit?

Were the US/NATO sincere they could have employed democratic ways to remove Gaddafi without the use of force. The UN has become a party to all this one-sided rogue action.
