LAHORE – The University of Management and Technology (UMT) organised Spring Cricket Junoon, an inter-varsity tapeball cricket tournament from March 10 to 17. More than 20 teams from the UMT participated in the tournament. After the initial round of matches, the best players from UMT teams were selected and divided into two teams – UMT Blue and UMT Green, which played the semi finals. UMT Blue won the semi final and qualified for the final against the SKANS School of Accountancy. UMT Blue won the final by 7 wickets and also received a cash prize of Rs 10,000. The runners-up received a trophy and Rs 5,000.
