PNCA arranges children’s show

ISLAMABAD – Director General Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) Tauqeer Nasir on Wednesday said the youngsters had the potential to cope with their responsibilities. He expressed these views during a cultural show for the children in connection with the Pakistan Day at the PNCA. He said the children were the future of our country. “It is the responsibility of teachers and parents to give full attention towards educating and training their children. He claimed that the government was committed to promote art and culture in every part of the country.
“We are trying to present the soft image of our country and to engage the youth in positive activities” said Tauqeer. Students of different educational institutions including Allama Iqbal Open University, FG College for Women, Fatima Jinnah University, and Preston University presented beautiful skits, tableau, national and folk songs and dances while paintings, exhibition the judo skills and a special puppet show were also a part of the programme.
