Fake beverage factory seized in Kasur

KASUR – Kasur police seized a factory for manufacturing fake cold drinks. Reportedly, Manzoor Ahmed, a driver in Elite Force, was running a factory of fake cold drinks of Pepsi and Coca Cola in village Rangpur. On a tip off, the police raided the village and recovered 56 bottles of fake cold drinks.
Traders rally against rising crime: Traders took out a rally against the failure of the police to control the rising crime in the district.
The traders observed a complete strike while jewellers took out a rally led by Lala Zafar Ali Khokhar from Sarafa Bazaar. They condemned robbery incidents in daylight and said the rising crime had affected their business badly. They appealed to the Sheikhupra range IGP and RPO to take effective measures to control crime.
GIRL RAPED: A 16-year-old girl was raped in Chak No 3 in the precincts of Pattoki Police Station. Reportedly, Nadia Parveen was alone at home when Jaffar and Safdar entered the house and raped her.
TWO GIRLS ABDUCTED IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS: At least two girls were kidnapped in separate incidents. In the first incident, 14-year-old Rabia was abducted by Hameed Ahmed from Qadirabad in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station. In the second incident, 20-year-old Shaista was alone at home when Saeed Ammed kidnapped her from Thieng Chatrian in the jurisdiction of Ilahabad Police Station.
