APML takes out Pakistan Day rally

LAHORE – All Pakistan Muslim League (APML) staged a rally on Wednesday to mark Pakistan Day (March 23). APML central leader Fawad Chaudhry led the rally that started from Gulberg, passed The Mall, Bhatti Chowk and Minar-e-Pakistan culminated at the Iqbal mausoleum. The rally was attended by APML members who carried Pakistan flags and portraits of APML President Pervez Musharraf.
Addressing the rally at Iqbal mausoleum Fawad Chaudhry said the PPP and PML-N’s manufactured democracy had failed and delivered nothing to people. He said the Pakistan Resolution passed on March 23, 1940, passed by Jinnah’s All India Muslim League had been reactivated as APML under the leadership of Pervez Musharraf.
He stated the APML on this historic day promises that it shall lead Pakistan on the path of progress when voted in with a public magnate. Chaudhry also said the APML aimed at uniting all Muslim League factions except PML-N. calling it a hypocrite league. APML office bearers including Hafiz Ghulam Muhayuddin, Naeem Tahir Saim Dada, Syed Imran Shamsi, Arifa, Saad Malik, Mubassar Ahmed, Malik Waris Khokar, Ameen, Umair, Aftab Ali were amongst the participants.
