KARACHI – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has called for full provincial autonomy in light of the “true spirit” of the Pakistan Resolution signed in Lahore on March 23, 1940.
In his message on the eve of Pakistan Day, Hussain said Pakistan was created after innumerable sacrifices and keeping it from harm requires national unity and solidarity. He said it was the need of the hour for all citizens to work towards ending provincialism that has sharply divided the nation.
