LAHORE – P&T Gymkhana overwhelmed SPM Colts by 60 runs to clinch the final of the first SPM Club Cricket.
P&T gave no room to their opponents in the final at Ali Garh ground, Model Town after racing to 314-9 in 75 overs.
Chief guest Shafiq Ahmed Papa, PCB General Manager, presented the Man of the Match award to Khaqan Arsal for his fine batting performance. Ruhail Ali was picked as MVP. P&T bagged Rs 100,000 while SPM received Rs.50,000. Khaqan scored an unbeaten 135 while Waqas Ahmed (55) and Muhammad Saeed (34) were the other prominent scorers. Qaiser Abbas and Hammad Azam took two wickets each for SPM. In reply, SPM were dismissed for 254.
