Muhammad Ali’s Celebrity Fight Night unites stars for charity

PHOENIX – Every year, the greatest of all time, the champ, legendary Muhammad Ali brings knockouts like Halle Berry, Reba McEntire and Cristie Kerr along with heavy hitting celebrities such as Billy Crystal and Kevin Costner together for a very worthy cause.
For over 17 years, Celebrity Fight Night has raised over 65 million dollars for Parkinson’s research and remains the most anticipated charity event in the Valley and perhaps the entire country.
This year’s star-studded black tie dinner boasted an impressive guest list including David Foster, Lee Greenwood, Bob Parsons (Go Daddy, CEO), Bo Derek, Larry Fitzgerald, Sinbad, just to name a few. Musical entertainment for the evening included Valley resident Bret Michaels, Matchbox Twenty, Kelly Clarkson and Top 12 American Idol 2011 Finalists.
Annually, Celebrity Fight Night honors leaders in sports, entertainment and business who exemplify Ali and help his fight to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease. This year’s honorees include, Halle Berry, Bob Parsons, Red McCombs and Cristie Kerr. Reba Mc Entire returned for her sixth year as emcee and Billy Crystal was tapped to make an introduction of Muhammad Ali.
