LAHORE – Despite end of winter gas management plan, the CNG stations of the city would remain closed for two days. SNGPL had announced it shall to restore gas supplies to CNG stations after March 15th, 2011 and ending two-day gas closure in a week for CNG but the load shedding is all set to continue.
All Pakistan CNG Association (APCNGA) has announced to hold protest against SNGPL injustice. APCNGA Supreme Council Chairman Ghayas Abdullah Paracha said that SNGPL has asked CNG stations for two-day closure till March 15th but now it is not following its promise of providing gas to CNG sector. He said CNG sector agreed to the load management due to shortage of gas.
“Now there is no shortage of gas, as domestic consumers have stopped using heaters and geysers but even then SNGPL is not giving gas to CNG sector,” he said.
