Samar named captain for Challenge Cup qualifiers

LAHORE – Pakistan Football Federation President Faisal Saleh Hayat has approved defender Samar Ishaq, gold medalist for KRL in PPFL 2009, as captain for the the fourth AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers at MBJP Stadium, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
Pakistan are clubbed in Group B and take on Turkmenistan on March 21 before locking horns with India (23 March), followed by Chinese Taipei (March 25). NBP midfielder Abdul Aziz will act as vice captain. Pakistan squad for 4th AFC Challenge Cup Qualifiers:
