ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz on Saturday submitted an adjournment motion in the National Assembly calling for a debate on the constitutional role of the army, the intelligence agencies, the judiciary, the parliament and the political parties.
The motion, submitted by PML-N lawmakers Birjees Tahir and Tahira Aurangzeb, stated that the release of CIA contractor Raymond Davis had raised certain questions about the role of different institutions and that the public was rightly demanding answers.
