JI demonstrates against Davis’ release

SAHIWAL – Jamaat-e-Islami took out a rally against the release of US national Raymond Davis, the killer of two Pakistanis.
The JI rally passed through the city’s main bazaars, holding the banners inscribed with slogans against the federal and Punjab rulers. Addressing the protesters, the rally leaders said it was the outcome of a secret deal between Preasident Asif Ali Zardari and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and both of them compelled the heirs of the families of the deceased to sign the documents of pardon. They said Zardari and Shahbaz Sharif had deceived the nation and both the parties – PPP and PML-N – were united to loot the country by corruption.
