LAHORE – Army’s Asad Mahmood won the tenth stage of the 16th Tour de Pakistan International Cycle Race on Saturday. Asad covered the 150 kilometre distance between Gujrat and Rawalpindi in 3 hours, 48 minutes and one second. On Saturday morning, 43 cyclists started off for the tenth stage as chief guest Javad Butt, President Chamber of Commerce Gujrat, flagged off the race.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Sports Board took dope tests of four cyclists, including Muhammad Sabir Ali of Wapda, Muhammad Ibrahim of Wapda, Nisar Ahmed of SSGC, and Sultan Aftab of SSGC. Today is last day and cyclists will move towards Abbottabad from Rawalpindi for the 11th stage on March 20.
