Three dead, four injured in separate incidents

KARACHI – Three men were killed and four other injured in separate violent incidents in the city on Friday. A man identified as Muhammad Ali, 35, was gunned down by unidentified armed men in the Dhobi Ghat area. The body of the victim was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK). The Sir Syed police found the bullet-riddled body of a rickshaw driver near the Anda Mor. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Rabnawaz. An FIR of the case was registered for further investigation.
The burnt body of an unidentified man was found from the New Sabzi Mandi area.
The Sohrab Goth police station duty officer said the body was partly decomposed and looked that of a man around 25 years. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities.
Three people were injured when unidentified armed men opened fire near Kati Pahari in the Qasba Colony area.
The Peerabad police station duty officer said the injured men were identified as Mairaj, Danish Mubin and Danish Akhtar and shifted to the ASH, where their condition was stated to be out of danger.
A man was injured when robber shot him on showing resistance during a robbery bid in Baloch Colony.
Police said that the man identified as Ali Asghar, 30, was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) while an FIR (84/2011) against unidentified bandits has been registered on the complaint of Asghar.
Mishaps: A man was killed and his two children injured when the roof of their house collapsed in Khuda ki Basti, Surjani Town on Friday. They were shifted to CHK.
At least six people, including two minor girls, were injured when a car collided with a truck on the Drigh Road. The injured identified as Imran, 30, Natasha, 5, Zameer, 25, Mehrab, 20, Zaitoon, 21, and Iqra, 5, were taken to the JPMC.
