LAHORE – To register their protest and anger, the PML-Q’s MPAs Wednesday staged a protest demonstration in front of the Punjab Assembly building against the party turncoats. PML-Q parliamentary leader in the Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Zaheer along with the party MPAs including Dr Samia Amjad, Majida Zaidi, Amna Ulfat, Seemal Kamran, Bushra Nawaz Gardezi and Khadija Farooqi led the protest, which was also joined by the party workers.
The protesters chanted anti-Punjab government slogans and held the PML-N responsible for aiding and abetting the members of the Unification Bloc. They also promised not to let the Punjab Assembly to become a market of turncoats and continue their protest till the PML-N stopped backing the turncoats.
Meanwhile, the provincial leadership of PML-Q on the directives Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi visited the protest camps of doctors at the Services and Ganga Ram hospitals to express solidarity with them.
