LAHORE – In connection with the third segment of the Jazba Foundation Women Entrepreneurship Programme, a ceremony was held at Royal Palm Golf and Country Club to honour and support 40 courageous and talented ladies. Eleven of these ladies wanted to set up computer academies, twelve sought training as beauticians and would set up beauty parlors, four opted for embroidery work and thirteen went for tailoring business.
In the presence of generous donors like Seth Abid, Mussarat Misbah, Abid Farooq, Faisal Ijaz, Lt Gen(r) M Tariq, Abid Farooq and Lt Gen (r) Khalid Maqbool, all the required and essential furniture and equipment was handed over to the forty beneficiaries with hope and prayers for their success The scholarships were also awarded to pre-service teachers on merit basis and the criteria for scholarships required the recipients to be citizens of Pakistan with at least 60 percent marks in FA/FSC and 85 percent attendance in ADE/B Ed.
