Nine booked for burning family alive

KASUR – Kasur police have registered a case against nine people for allegedly killing a couple and their children at village Garri Wala. Reportedly, Niamat Ali got a case registered with Mandi Usmanwala Police Station that Shaukat, his wife Perveen and their four children were present at home when Mustafa, along with his accomplices, set their home on fire as a result of which all the family members were burnt alive. He said Mustafa and Muhammad Ahmed tried to develop relations with Shaukat’s wife and, they had exchanged hot words several times over the issue.
Kasur DPO Gohar Naffees said investigations were underway under the supervision of senior police officials.
FOUR KILLED IN SEPARATE INCIDENTS: At least four people were allegedly killed in separate incidents in Kasur. In the first incident, Yahya had developed illicit relation with 17-year-old Yasmeen at village Choor Kot in the jurisdiction of Khuddian Police Station. Over the issue, Yasmeen’s brothers Sarwar and Ashraf killed their sister and her lover. In the second incident, Zainab Bibi was killed when a speedy car hit a rickshaw near Mir Kot Canal in the jurisdiction of Chunian Police Station.
In the third incident, Bashir Ahmad killed Mahmood Hussain over an old enmity at Ganje Chak 27 in the jurisdiction of Pattoki Police Station.
FAMILY DEPRIVED OF CASH, GOLD ORNAMENTS: Bandits deprived a family of cash and gold ornaments at Gulberg Colony in the jurisdiction of Saddar Police Station. Reportedly, four armed people entered the house of Zia and looted 25 tolas of gold ornaments and Rs 21,000.
BOY KILLED: A six-year-old boy was killed after being sodomised at village Jhambar Kalan in the jurisdiction of Phoolnagar Police Station. Reportedly, accused Farhan and Ali Shan sodomised their cousin Abdur Rahman and killed him afterwards. They threw the body of the boy into BS Canal and could not be found till the filing of the report. However, the police arrested both the accused who had confessed to their crime.
