LAHORE – Balochistan crawled to 299 runs in 74.3 overs on the opening day of the Faysal Bank Pentangular Cup (First Class) 2010-2011 final against Sindh here at the Gaddafi Stadium on Tuesday.
Rizwan Haider, with his patient 81, kept the scoreboard ticking for Balochistan, and was duly supported by Saeed Anwar Jr (47) and later in the innings by Abdul Rauf (45).
Sindh’s Mohammad Sami, with three wickets, was the pick of the bowlers and by the close of the play, Sindh were at 64 for one in 13 overs. Khurrum Manzoor and Anwar Ali were at the crease.
