Property dealer gunned down over old enmity

SIALKOT – A local property dealer, Tariq Mehmood, was gunned down by his rivals over an old enmity in village Jodehywali here. Reportedly, he was sitting in his office when his rivals, Naveed an d others, opened fire, killing him on the spot. After committing the murder, the accused fled away by firing in the air. The deceased was the father of three minor children.
‘IMF POLICIES BEHIND ALL CRISES’: The skyrocketing price hike, uncontrolled unemployment, poverty and lawlessness and unending terrorism are the result of the policies of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) being implemented by the rulers, said PML-N MPA Ch Yahya Gul Nawaz on Tuesday.
Talking to newsmen, he said the PPP-led government had made the lives of the poor who were committing suicides and selling their children. He remarked the change of the federal government had become vital. He claimed the reforms agenda of PML-N would be a milestone to achieve the economic stability, end corruption, strengthen institutions and solve the problems of the masses.
