Court summons immigration consultant for fraud

LAHORE – The Lahore Consumer Court on Monday summoned the Future Concern Immigration Agency chief executive for March 25 for cheating citizens for Canadian immigration and swindling Rs 0.3 million from citizen Azhar Iftikhar. Complainant Azhar Iftikhar said that Future Concern Immigration Agency Chief Executive Asim Malik took Rs 0.3 million from him in April 2010 for processing his immigration to Canada but embezzled the amount. The complainant said that Malik had taken the fees to pay fees of the Canadian High Commission, enrollment, opening of bank account in Canada and other important immigration steps but failed to do so.
Iftikhar said that when he asked Malik to return his money, the immigration consultant refused to do so. The complainant said that he had borrowed the amount from his elder brother. The complaint was filed by Iftikhar’s counsel Muhammad Shah seeking recovery of Rs 0.3 million and Rs 1 million in damages for mentally torturing Iftikhar and his family.
Talking to Pakistan Today, Iftikhar admitted that he should not have given the money to the immigration consultant and said that he wanted to go abroad because he was facing financial problems. The complainant disclosed that in January 2010, dacoits looted 70 tolas jewellery, prize bonds and Rs 5 million from his house at Samanabad due to which he was bankrupt now. “When I was penniless, my brother gave me Rs 0.3 million for the immigration hoping that I will settle abroad and good days will also return for my our family”, an emotional Azhar said.

  1. Its very good to see asim malik being brought to justice.he should be cut into 1000 pcs and then put to dogs.he deserves this.

  3. I am totally diamayed at how may innocent people this man has looted and yet continues to not only go scot free but also flourish. It may be of interest that his wife Zobia Rubab Malik is an MPA . This also speaks volumes of the kind of vermn that infest our political system and the way they use their political influence to cover the crimes they commit . No wonder this country is going down the drain.

  4. It seems nothing more than an organized group of people 'Bhatta Mafia' running campaign for 'Bhatta' against big names like Mr. Asim Malik or other big names like him in this country. Such 'Mafia' also abuse our national leader so what more could be expected. This is why Pakistan is going down. We must also take care of such campaigns.

  7. asim malik robbed my father of 50 lac. he is protected by yousaf raza gillani and his son who has share in future concern and they are protected by Mr rehman malik who said jisne inki taraf nazar bhi udhake deykhi tou woh insaan pakistan mein nahi hoga kal se!!

  9. i have been going to court and dealing with this for a while now. my case is now at a point where i need proof that he has done this with other people. if any of you can help me with anything you have, recordings, paperwork, any documentations, signatures of anybody from his office… anything and i mean anything that might/can point out that he is, indeed a fraud, please PLEASE call me at 03224100100.
