LAHORE – WAPDA’s Mohammad Sabir won the sixth stage of the 16th Tour de Pakistan International Cycle Race.
The sixth stage paddled off from Bahawalpur towards Multan on Monday morning. Sabir covered the distance of 90 kilometers in 2hours, 36minutes and 34 seconds to win the stage. Forty-six cyclists participated in the race but two were disqualified by the judges.
Arshad Ali, Divisional Sports Officer and Masood-ul-Hasan, District Sports Officer Bahawalpur were the chief guests for send-off ceremony at Bahawalpur. Today (Tuesday), the cyclists will move towards Sahiwal from Multan for 176km seventh stage.
