KARACHI – The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sindh announced on Sunday that it would move a privilege motion against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Chaudhry Nisar today (Monday).
PPP Sindh Media Cell In-charge and MPA Sharjeel Inam Memon told the media that he and other PPP members of the Sindh Assembly will move a privilege motion against Nisar because the latter used disrespectful and un-parliamentary language against the Sindh Assembly members and the ajrak and topi – symbols of the Sindhi culture.
“The ruling class possessing Nisar’s mindset has constantly exploited the people of Punjab. He (Nisar) enjoys whether he is in the government or the opposition,” Memon said. He said that the MPAs have a right to unfold every conspiracy against democracy and country, adding that Nisar is working against the interests of the country and that is why a resolution was passed against him in the provincial assembly.
