KASUR – Additional District and Sessions Judge Jazeela Aslam awarded death sentence to six accused and life imprisonment to two accused in a triple-murder case. Reportedly, the accused shot dead Haji Saabbaar Hussain, Haider Ali and Sher Muhammad while injured four people by firing at village Bakar Kay in the jurisdiction of Khudian Police Station.
The judge awarded death sentence to six people Rehmat, Sarja, Ahmad Din, Munir Hussain, Hassan Ali and Sujja while two people Hassan and Araf were given life imprsonment. The judge also fined Rs 100,000 to each convict in the same case. They would have to undergo one-year extras imprisonment if they failed to pay the amount of fine. The judge acquitted five other accused, giving them the benefit of the doubt.
RAPIST BOOKED: Kasur police claimed to have traced the accused of a rape case in village Babliana in the jurisdiction of Kot Radha Kishan Police Station.
Reportedly, accused Azam developed relations with a 17-year-old Saima and impregnated her. Her father got a rape case registered against the accused, but he refused to confess to the crime. Later, the DNA test proved Azam guilty and the police presented a challan in the court against him.
