‘Punjab govt wants transparent examination system’

SIALKOT – Punjab Food Minister Abdul Ghafur said the provincial government was striving to ensure the transparent examination system across the province under the supervision of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He said this while talking to the journalists after visiting a matriculation examination center in Daska.
Members provincial assembly (MPAs) Yahiya Gul Nawaz Ghuman, Rana Arif Iqbal Harnah and Jamil Ashraf Baryar, Gujranwala Division Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Chairman Mehar Bashir Ahmad, Sialkot Public Relations Deputy Director Malik Ghulam Abbas Awan and senior journalist Zafar Malik were also present on the occasion.
The minister said the promotion of transparent examination system was the need of the day for producing sharp minds. The provision of better educational environment to the students was the priority of the provincial government, he said, adding that they would have to serve the nation in future in a better way. He urged the teachers and parents to focus on the character-building of their children to produce an educated nation, enabling the country to compete with the developed nations in the international community.
