KARACHI – The International Plastic and Packaging Industry Exhibition – PLASTI and PACK Pakistan 2011 and the International Food and Technology Exhibition incorporating Pharmaceutical Technology and Food Chemicals (IFTECH) Pakistan 2011- has received overwhelming response from leading international and local companies. The major international participation is from Germany, Malaysia, Thailand, Austria, Switzerland and UAE.
The exhibitions are being held for the eighth time in succession, from April 5-7, 2011 at the Karachi Expo Centre. The shows are poised to demonstrate the latest technologies and trends that the industries have to offer and will also provide numerous networking opportunities to the business professionals.
An important highlight of IFTECH Pakistan 2011 is the Third Food Seminar under the theme of “Halal Food Innovation: Key to Healthy Economy”. The seminar will bring renowned professionals and researchers from the food industry who will share their valuable insights with the attendees.
Both the events are actively supported by Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Board of Investment, Engineering Development Board, Pakistan Agricultural Research Council, Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research amongst other distinguished bodies.
Plastic exhibition draws strong response
