ISLAMABAD – The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Thursday organised a national conference, Women as Change Agents for Coping with Climate Change, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and National Commission for Status of Women (NCSW) to mark 100 years of International Women’s Day. NDMA chairman Lt Gen (r) Nadeem Ahmed chaired the conference while Minister Councilor of Norwegian Embassy Terje Barstad, Ministry of Environment Additional Secretary Kamran Ali Qureshi, NCSW Chairperson Ms Anis Haroon, representatives of NGOs/INGOs and Women Organisations attended the meeting.
