LAHORE – Chaudhry Sports beat Lahore Tigers by four runs in the Amar Cables veterans T20 Cricket here on Tuesday. Batting first, Chaudhry Sports scored 157 for nine and in reply Lahore Tigers scored 153 for nine. Azizur Rehman scored 59 for the winning side and Naseer Bhatti topscored for the losing side with 70. Meanwhile, Lucky Stars and Shining Club marched into the next round of East Zone Cricket Championship. Lucky Stars outplayed Dharampura Club by five wickets at Jallo Ground on Tuesday to qualify for the third round.
Shining Club moved into the second round after getting a walk over against New Union Club. Jallo Gymkhana and Servis Club also moved into the third round. Jallo Gym defeated Rising Stars by six wickets at the Allama Iqbal Institute ground, while Servis Club beat Faran Sports, also by 6 wickets at Wahdat Colony ground.
