Lahore – Qamar, 30, was found dead in his home in Shafiqabad police station jurisdiction on Wednesday. Though the deceased had received a bullet near his heart, no blood or bullet lead was found near the body. The deceased’s family alleged that Qamar was murdered by the police since no family member was at home at the time of the body’s recovery. However, police claimed the deceased was hit by a stray bullet. Police also revealed the deceased was wanted by police in many cases. A case against unknown murderers was registered.
Run over by tractor: Aslam, 23, resident of Hanjerwal, Marghar colony was run over by a speeding tractor-trolley in Hanjerwal police station precincts. Aslam was trying to catch the tractor-trolley when he slipped. He died on the spot due to head injuries. Heirs considered the incident the deceased’s mistake and refused to register a case.
