Security tightened after Faisalabad blast

LAHORE – Security was tightened around the entry and exit points of Lahore and across the city after a suicide bombing outside a security agency’s office in Faisalabad, Pakistan Today has learnt. According to details, the security for the Governor’s House, Punjab Assembly, Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Office, Police Lines and all important governmental offices and main shopping malls has been tightened. Police have been directed to keep a close eye on the movement of suspicious people while additional policemen have been deployed at worship places. City Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Shahzad said that all police high-ups have directed the SPs concerned to look into security issues.
