LAHORE – DIG Operations Rao Sardar Ali Khan transferred 12 SHOs of different police stations on Monday after charges of corruption, misconduct and negligence in duties leveled against them were proved during separate inquiries. The suspended SHOs were involved in extorting money from citizens and hotel administrators besides patronizing criminals.
Racecourse SHO Taimur Malik (suspended over corruption and misconduct) was transferred to Police Lines whereas Old Anarkali Police Inspector Wasim Akhtar has been posted as Racecourse SHO and Qila Gujjar Singh SHO Majid Bashir (suspended over corruption and misconduct) has been transferred to Police Lines while North Cantt additional SHO Muhammad Shahid has been posted as Qila Gujjar Singh SHO.
Khalid from Police Lines has been posted as Old Anarkali SHO, Zulfiqar Ali from SSP Office D&I department has been posted as Ghalib Market SHO, Ehsan Ashraf from police lines has been posted as Nishtar Colony SHO, Munawar Dogar has been transferred to Police Lines and Saleem Ullah from Police Lines has been posted as Gujjarpura SHO.
Mozang SHO Khalid Farooq has been transferred to Lytton Road police station, Bhatti SHO Amjad Hussain has been posted as Shadman SHO, Manga Mandi SHO Khurshid Ahmad has been posted as Liaqatabad SHO, Batapur SHO Imran Yousaf has been posted as Nawankot SHO whereas Ghalib Market SHO Azhar Ishaq has been posted as SHO Garden Town.
