LAHORE – Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif believes that Pakistan will face South Africa or England in its next round encounter. “Pakistan may play South Africa or England in quarter-finals,” said Rashid Latif, current coach of the Afghanistan team. “We can now say India and Pakistan are the clear favourites of this World Cup, but Pakistan will be the team to beat.”
Latif has coached some of the players in the present Pakistan team after hanging up his boots as the country’s wicketkeeper batsman. “We can now safely announce that Pakistan has every chance of lifting the World Cup,” said the former player.
