LAHORE – The Punjab government has lost its right to govern because it has failed to provide roll number slips to thousands of students, PML-Q Punjab Information Secretary Akram Chaudhry said this on Saturday. Speaking to party workers at the Muslim League House, Akram said that the health and education departments have yet to get ministers, which showed that the Punjab chief minister had turned a blind eye to issues concerning these sectors.
“The Punjab government has launched campaigns against teachers and doctors,” he said. He claimed that two million grade two students had been compelled to study the old syllabus this year because textbooks in line with the new syllabus had not been printed by the provincial government.
