LAHORE – A petition was filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Saturday seeking postponement of the Matriculation examinations and abolition of the objective portion. Azhar Siddique filed the petition while clubbing it with his earlier petition on the same issue.
The petitioner submitted that Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has changed the objective questions procedure questions for Matriculation examinations starting from March 7. He said that students need to be a drawing experts to solve the new objective questions. Siddique said the board asked students to attach their Form B with the admissions form while also asking pupils to fill online admission forms, which troubled students.
He said that the move had failed since most students could not fill online forms and had to get their roll number slips from the BISE office and had to restort to bribing officials. The petitioner requested the court to postpone examinations until a final judgement on the petition.
