KP, Balochistan bag top positions

LAHORE – Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa won the National Cadet U16 Boys Karate Championship after securing 85 points, with two golds, two silvers and one bronze medal. The KP team was really excited as the were declared the champions for the first time. In the Girls championship, Balochistan won by securing 100 points with three golds, two silvers and one bronze medal. Shahida from Balochistan bagged three gold medals in 54 kg, individual Kata and team Kumite. Fourteen teams from all over Pakistan participated in the championship.
Aziz Ahmad Bilour, Secretary Sports, graced the Closing and Prize Distribution Ceremony. In his speech, he assured his cooperation in the future and encouraged all the players who participated in the events. He distributed medals and souvenirs among the players and technical officials.
