BHAKKAR – Kite-flying was banned in the district under Section 144, in compliance with the orders of the Punjab govt. Bhakkar District Govt Administrator Muhammad Asif Qureshi, in the light of the directive issued by the Punjab Home Department, banned kite flying under Section 144 in the entire district.
In addition, the ban has also been imposed on the sale of kites and chemical twine. Anyone found involved in this practice would be dealt with strictly, said a press release issued by the district govt administrator. He also directed the police to ensure the implementation of the ban.
