LAHORE – Art Community arranged an art competition in the City School’s Shalimar Campus on Saturday where famous cartoonist Javed Iqbal was the chief guest. Students depicted their art through paintings and drawings. In the end, a prize-distribution ceremony was held in which students who got top positions were awarded. The students also performed to songs.
Punjab Information Department Director Syed Ali Tahir was also the chief guest with artist RM Naeem among the judges. Addressing the occasion, Javed Iqbal appreciated the efforts of students and said that there is no better entertainment than art. He also lauded the efforts of the organisers and said that these competitions provided a way for students to enjoy themselves.
