City govt told to remove encroachments

GUJRANWALA – District Coordination Officer (DCO) Barrister Nabil Ahmad Awan has directed the city district government officers to remove encroachments to the facilitation of commuters and timely completion of development projects.
Presiding over a meeting at committee room, the DCO directed the Gujranwala Development Authority Director General to remove all encroachments from the College Road, Noshera Road and Gurunanikpura.
Six SHOs transferred in Gujranwala: Station House Officers (SHOs) of six police stations have been transferred by City Police Officer Ghulam Mahmood Dogar. Reportedly, Kamoke SHO has been deployed at Gakhar Police Station and Inspector Abdul Azeem has been sent to Kamoke Police Station.
Inspector Fazal Ahamd Sarra of investigation branch is appointed as Ahmad Nagar PS SHO, Inspector Faiz Rasool is deployed as Jinnah Road PS SHO, Inspector Babar Shoaib is deputed as Kot Ladha SHO, Sub Inspector Safdar Ata has been sent to Sabzi Mandi PS as SHO and Inspector Ather Gujjar is deployed as Gujranwala city police officer’s (CPO) PSO.
Moreover, Inspector Muhammad Akram has been appointed as Civil Lines PS in-charge investigation and Inspector Sami Ullah as Kamoke investigation in-charge.
