KARACHI – MQM chief Altaf Hussain on Friday strongly condemned the bomb blast in a mosque near the shrine of Akhund Baba in Nowshera and termed the attack as outrageous.
“Islam is a religion of peace and such a brutal attack in a mosque can only be carried out by diabolical minds that have nothing to do with Islam,” said Altaf. Expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the attack, he prayed for the early recovery of the injured and stressed upon the president, the prime minister and the federal interior minister to take firm steps for safeguarding the life and property of the people and the sanctity of worship places by employing all available resources.
