Shootouts claim another 8 lives in Karachi

KARACHI – Another eight people, including a policeman, were killed in several shootouts in Karachi and three corpses were found across the city on Thursday. According to a private TV channel, police constable Akram Abbas was shot dead by unidentified gunmen on a railway track near Zafar Town in the Latif Town police precincts.
A man was shot dead in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, while a youngster was shot and killed by robbers in Teeser Town when he tried to resist. A man named Akbar shot and killed his wife and sister-in-law in Bilal Colony, New Karachi. Three dead bodies were found in various areas of the city, and one was identified as Zahid Lashari.
