Lahore – Lahore witnessed another wet day on Wednesday as the sky kept pouring lightly throughout the day whereas small amounts of rain filled city’s low lying areas with water where the public suffered consequently. According to Met office, provincial metropolis witnessed 5.2 mm rain yesterday; traffic was also disturbed due to rain and water standing on the roads. Commuters especially school children and motorcyclists faced difficulties while traveling, they were also advised to ride the bike carefully on slippery roads.
The weather of city remained cloudy even after the rain. A citizen Ali claimed that his plans were disturbed by rain and wished a better weather in coming days. Other citizens said that the continuous rain spells have extended winters. They said that this time spring had brought lots of rain and snowfall and hoped that this may bring prosperity to the crops. Met office said that scattered rain and thunderstorm with snowfall also occurred over the hills in Balochistan, KPK, Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab, Kashmir and also at isolated places in Sindh.
Met office also predicted more widespread rain and snow with isolated heavy showers today in Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan & Kashmir and isolated showers in some parts of Sindh.
