KARACHI – The Khokhrapar police on Monday claimed to have arrested three alleged kidnappers and also recovered three TT pistols from their possession.
The suspects identified as Akbar, Yar Mohammad and Badal were involved in kidnapping and murdering a teenage boy, whose body found near the Malir River, earlier on Monday.
Khokhrapar SHO Arbab Ali said that Akbar is the relative of the victim, who was a matriculation student.
The SHO added that Mohammad Hussain, 17, was kidnapped from the D-1 area of Khokhrapar.
“His father had come to the police station on Sunday to report that his son had gone missing,” he said, adding that the police lodged the FIR and started investigation.
The father of the victim also received a call from the kidnappers demanding 0.5 million rupees ransom for his release. However, the kidnappers shot dead Hussain and threw away his body.
